Abstract: Bayuan region,shaanxi Provhce,is the southwest portion of the Xiaoqiding gold metal-logenic belt.Over the last several years 31 gold ore deposits and occurrences have been dis-covered in this region,In light of mainly indirect criteria,this paper makes an evaItiation and classification of the mineralization quality of the occurrences.Based on this,with 16 geologicvariables taken into account,the paper contructs variation sequences of ore-forming meritsof the cells and delineates gold prospective areas of various grades;The methods of ftizzy syn-thetical judgement and logic-informational analysis are employed.
