Abstract: The gold telluride deposit is a type of weak resrarch in the epithermal gold deposits.The geological background, geological and geochemical characteristics of the gold telluride deposits,and their disteibutive characteristics of time and space in the world are synthesized and summarized.It is also pointed out that some important problems of this type of gold deposit should be solved and that the Te-geocemical anomaly is a valuable geochemical indicator of prospecting for these deposits.
