    苏州甪直第四纪重矿物地层及其意义

    THE HEAVY MINERALS IN QUATERNARY STRATA AND ITS STRATIGRAPHIC SIGNIFICANCE IN LUZHI,JIANGSU PROVINCE

    • 摘要: 苏州直地区SK03孔第四纪的岩石地层有更新世海门组、启东组、昆山组、滆湖组和全新世如东组.采用重矿物组合方法,对第四系地层进行划分,共划分了10个组合,并对重矿物组合类型的地质意义进行了讨论.它不仅是岩石地层划分的依据,而且对古气候和沉积环境的分析也有指导意义.

       

      Abstract: Petrostratigraphically, the Quaternary rocks in the drilling hole SK03 in Luzhi area of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province include Pleistocene Haimen formation, Qidong formation, Kunshan formation and Gehu formation and Holocene Rudong formation. The Quaternary strata are divided according to the 10 assemblages of heavy minerals. The geological significance for the types of the heavy mineral assemblages is discussed. It is the foundation of stratigrapbic division, and also significant to guide the analysis on paleoclimate and sedimentary environment.
