Abstract: The application of mantle plume theory in mineralization connects the research on ore matter source to the evolution of the earth. The research has no longer simply distinguished crust source or mantle source. In this paper, the characteristics, ore-forming mechanism and ore-forming system of mantle plume, as well as its control to mineralization, are introduced.
