Abstract: As a kind of gemstone, the jadeite products in market are classified into three types, namely A, B and C, according to their different processing ways. Each type varies in the physical properties and internal and external features, which can be used to distinguish one type from another. Ultrared-spectrometry and Raman spectrometry can also be used in the determination for different treating types.
