Abstract: The Lishugou coal mine is located in Fengcheng, Liaoning Province. After the exploitation for decades, the geological and ecological environment in the mining area has been changed a lot. The basic problems about the geological environment are presented in three aspects:geological hazard of sinking from mining, resource waste caused by land occupation and the complication of hydrogeological environment of the ore field and its surroundings.
