Abstract: It is practically significant to draw the profile maps with MapGIS in simple procedures, without any professional software. The authors discuss the method of profile map drawing with MapGIS. The profile maps drawn in this way are artistic, clear and standardizing, with suitable layout and easy for edition. This method is worth a research.
