    内蒙古东部突泉地区发现角斑岩

    DISCOVERY OF THE KERATOPHYRE IN TUQUAN AREA, EASTERN INNER MONGOLIA

    • 摘要: 突泉地区出露中二叠统大石寨组的中性火山岩.通过薄片鉴定并结合长石矿物成分分析,确认为角斑岩.详细描述了角斑岩的手标本特征及显微镜下光学特征,采用电子探针测试技术,分析了其中的长石化学成分,并计算了长石的晶体化学式.电子探针测试结果表明,长石成分由95%以上的钠长石分子及小于5%的钙长石和钾长石分子组成,从而确认岩石中的长石为钠长石.将分析数据投到AbAn-Or三角图中,进一步确认该中性火山岩中的长石为钠长石.结合岩石的结构特征,确定突泉地区存在角斑岩.角斑岩的发现,为大兴安岭中南部地区进一步认识晚古生代时期区域大地构造发展演化历史提供了岩石学依据.

       

      Abstract: The intermediate volcanic rocks of Middle Permian Dashizai Formation outcropping in Tuquan area, Inner Mongolia were identified to be keratophyre by thin-section determination and feldspar component analysis. This paper describes in detail the visual and microscopic characteristics of the keratophyre samples, with analysis of the chemical composition of feldspar by electron probe technology and calculation of its crystal chemical formula. Study shows that the feldspar is composed of more than 95% of albite and less than 5% of anorthite and potash feldspar. Thus the feldspar is determined as albite. The Ab-An-Or diagram also confirms that the feldspar in the intermediate volcanic rocks is albite. The discovery of keratophyre provides the petrologic evidence for further studies on regional geotectonic evolution history of Late Paleozoic epoch in the mid-south of Daxinganling region.
