    RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE FORMATION AND DECOMPOSITION OF GAS HYDRATE AND THE TECTONISM IN SHENHU AREA, SOUTH CHINA SEA

    • 摘要: 以神狐地区高分辨率二维地震剖面资料为基础,结合层形态理论、地震响应特征及层序地层分析,研究了南海神狐地区天然气水合物成藏与构造作用的关系.利用层形态理论,通过构造活动的强弱,把二级层序划分为若干构造活动期次,建立了构造活动与层序地层之间的关系,着重探讨了构造活动对天然气水合物形成与分解的影响.在此基础上,对天然气水合物成藏模式与构造演化模式的关系进行了深入的研究.

       

      Abstract: Based on high resolution 2-D seismic section, the relationships between the formation and decomposition of gas hydrate and the tectonism in Shenhu area, South China Sea are studied, with layer form theory, the seismic response characteristics and sequence stratigraphic analysis. Adopting the layer form theory, the secondary sequence is divided into several tectonic periods by the strength of tectonic activity. The relationships between tectonism and sequence stratigraphy are established. The influence of tectonism to the formation and decomposition of natural gas hydrate is also discussed. On this basis, the relationships between natural gas hydrate accumulation mode and tectonic evolution model are further researched.
