Abstract: With analysis on the great potential of unconventional oil and gas resources like biogas, shale oil, coalbed methane, tight sandstone gas and shale gas in Daqing exploratory area, the authors point out that there are five problems, namely, low degree of proved reserves, imperfect technology, inadequate policy support and investment, ambiguous mineral right and insufficient professionals in the exploration and development. Five countermeasures and four levels of aims and directions such as output increase, scale production, scale reserves exploration and shooting for industrial discovery are determined, which provide reliable evidence for reasonable exploration and development of unconventional oil and gas resource in the study area.
