Abstract: This paper details the geography, metallogenic characteristics and mineral resources in Changchun region, as well as the problems existing in the development and utilization of mineral resources. By the above study, based on the distribution of superior resources and the development and utilization layout of mineral resources, with the regional development planning of Changchun City, the authors propose the suggestion about the division of mining economic zones for the Changchun metallogenic belt, aiming to establish the core area of mining development, and comprehensively improve the utilization of mineral resources.
