Abstract:
Taking the seven districts and counties in southern Langfang City as the study area, this research assesses the ecological vulnerability of Langfang area and puts forward suggestions for ecological protection, restoration and development by way of GIS and AHP(analytic hierarchy process) on the basis of data from the ecological restoration survey projects. The results show that the slightly vulnerable zone covers 1 742.85 km
2, accounting for 33.83% of the total area, the mildly vulnerable zone 2 287.51 km
2 (44.40%), the moderately vulnerable zone 961.72 km
2 (18.67%), and the highly vulnerable zone 159.92 km
2 (3.10%).
