    SEDIMENTARY FEATURES AND STRATIGRAPHICAL CORRELATION OF LATE TRIASSIC STRATA IN THE EAST OF NORTHERN QIANGTANG BASIN DEPRESSION

    • 摘要: 研究区内晚三叠世土门格拉群(组)、结扎群、巴塘群分布于长江源各拉丹冬地区南北两侧,夹于金沙江缝合带南侧和前缘隆起带之间,呈NW向带状分布.笔者在1:25万区域地质调查基础上,通过实测剖面的详细研究和区域对比,从生物群面貌、岩石类型及其组合、基本层序和沉积相角度进行了分析.沉积古地理格局显示出总体南浅北深的特点,南部靠近羌塘盆地中央隆起带,陆源物质供应丰富;向北至雀莫错一带因远离中央隆起,陆源物质供应相对较少,泥、灰岩增多,灰岩中化石丰富,双壳类、菊石类等生物群得以快速发展;沿北东,靠近金沙江缝合带,受其活动影响而表现出火山活动频繁.这3个群(组)可很好对比,基本特征相同,因此认为是同一地质时期同一构造单元不同构造部位之沉积产物.

       

      Abstract: The Late Triassic Tumengela, Jiezha and Batang groups in the Northern Qiangtang area are distributed in the south and north sides of Geladandong Mountain, between the southern part of Jinshajiang suture belt and front uplift, in a strap trending northwest. Based on the 1/250000 regional geology survey, the biota appearance, lithologic assemblage and sedimentary environments are analyzed. The three groups can be well correlated with similar characteristics. The groups were formed in shallow water in the southern part of the area and deep water in north. In the south part next to the central uplift of Qiangtang basin, the strata are dominated by sandstone for the abundant terrigenous supply;while at Quemocuo in the north, because of insufficient terrigenous supply and rich fossils such as bivalve and ammonites, the groups are dominated by mudstone and limestone, forming in shelf sea. To the north next to Jinshajiang suture belt, volcanic activities were frequent. In fact, they are sediments in different tectonic positions within a same tectonic unit during a same geological time.
