Abstract: The Maoling gold deposit in Gaixiancountry, Liaoning province, occurs in the second member of Gaixian Fm. of Liaohe Gr., Which consists of phyllite,chorite-sericite phyllite and sericite-quartz phyllite with sericite quart-zite. In the miner area there are two granite masses(i.e. Maoling granite an woeongquan granite), which are of proterozoic metasomatic-anatect type.
