    辽宁瓦房店金刚石成矿带发现逆冲推覆构造

    THRUST NAPPE STRUCTURE DISCOVERED IN WAFANGDIAN DIAMOND METALLOGENIC BELT OF LIAONING PROVINCE

    • 摘要: 通过构造解析及三维地质构造调查,在瓦房店地区金刚石成矿带内地表发现了逆冲推覆构造,由上盘外来滑移系统、下盘原地系统和逆冲断层组成.逆冲推覆体总体由南东东向北西西近水平低角度推覆,其形成时代为中晚侏罗世.根据这一发现,推测下盘深部找矿潜力巨大,为金刚石找矿和基础地质研究提供了新的思路.

       

      Abstract: Through structural analysis and 3D geological structure survey, the thrust nappe structure is discovered in the diamond metallogenic belt of Wafangdian area, which consists of the external slip system in hanging wall, autochthonous system in footwall and thrust fault. The thrust nappe that generally pushes from SEE to NWW in nearly horizontal low angle was formed in the Middle-Late Jurassic. Based on the discovery, it is inferred that there is great prospecting potential in the footwall, which provides new thoughts for diamond prospecting and basic geological research.
