Abstract:
The Zhaceqiao orefield, located in Jiangnan transitional zone, includes the Niutougaojia gold deposit, Chengtan gold deposit, Luyuan gold occurrence, Dongbian gold mineralization spot and Yangmeijian gold occurrence, among which the Niutougaojia gold deposit is of a sizable laterite type first discovered in Anhui Province. The study area is mainly situated in the junction of Dongzhi fault and Gaotan fault zone, and also the core and north wing of Sangangjian-Yangmeiqiao anticline. There are several important ore-bearing strata in the area, mainly including the Nanhua Xiuning and Nantuo formations, Sinian Lantian Formation, Cambrian Huangbailing and Yangliugang formations, and Ordovician Lunshan and Dongzhi formations. As the Gaotan fault zone, Lanchengfan fault zone and nappe-gliding nappe fault plane between Ordovician and Silurian are all important rock- and ore-controlling structures, the magmatic rocks are mainly controlled by them and geophysical and geochemical anomalies are distributed along them as well. By summarizing the geological characteristics of deposit and combining with previous research results, it is concluded that the area has the prospecting potential of mineralization such as epithermal-superimposed reformed type, stratabound skarn type, and magmatic hydrothermal vein type of Au, Cu, W, Mo, Ag and Pb-Zn in the study area.
