Abstract:
As an important part of mineral exploration, aeromagnetic anomaly verification aims to determine the existence of anomaly, trace anomaly source, investigate its geological environment, make objective evaluations, put forward suggestions for further work, and provide basis for later data interpretation through ground check. The integrated application of geological, physical and chemical methods on the anomaly verification of H-C2011-02243 shows that the geological profile and soil geochemical surveys can find good prospecting clues on the surface, while the high-precision magnetic and induced polarization (IP) intermediate gradient surveys reveal the characteristics of deep geologic bodies and mineralization. It is thought that the geological, high-precision magnetic and soil geochemical surveys of profiles should be carried out first, then the IP surveys based on the above results, finally the geophysical-geochemical surveys and prospecting engineering once the favorable prospecting information is obtained.
