Abstract: The early-warning for geological hazard of landslide in Wenzhou takes village as unit, which is advantageous for high refinement and clear targets. Based on such principle, the early-warning and forecast system plays a significant role in prevention and control of geological hazards for Wenzhou government. Especially during No. 13 typhoon of Soudelor in the year of 2015, the early-warning for landslide in Wenzhou got a high success rate, when the city successfully prevented 6 incidents and avoided 95 deaths and 400 000 RMB loss of property. It is the most effective case of prevention and control of geological hazards in Wenzhou during the 12th Five-Year Plan.
