Abstract: The Administration Information System for Mineral Resources Planning of Liaoning Province was established on support of the Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.For the practice of the Mineral Resources Plan of Liaoning Province,the system combines and integrates the GIS function and database.It supplies a distributed remote database control and a mutual management for data of graphs and documents.The system also supports the statistics and analysis of spatial data,as well as the long distance conduct of planning projects.This system will provide a new measure and basis of macro governance and decision-making for the administrators of mineral resources planning.
