      Abstract: The geological prediction in tunnel engineering is a comprehensive application of multiple methods. It is significant to prevent and deal with abnormal situations and the existence of unfavorable geologic bodies ahead of the faces.The prediction is favorable for safely constructing, improving efficiency, reducing construction period and avoiding accidents, with great economic and social benefits.The accurate information can be provided by a reasonable organization of predicting procedure and a comprehensive analysis on the predicted results with multiple methods.
