Abstract:
The Chahanshala-Dinadaban area belongs to the east extension of Southern Tianshan metallogenic belt of Mid-Asia, with comparable metallogenic conditions to the whole belt. The littoral-neritic facies carbonaceous detrital rocks and carbonate rock of Lower Devonian is broadly distributed in the area, with a high Sb background. The anomalies are commonly polymetallic assemblage of Sb, Au, Ag and As. Some antimony deposits (occurrences), such as Chahanshala and Dinadaban, have been found in the area. The mineralization and anomalies are controlled by a large NW-trending thrusting structural system. This area is with a great potential of antimony metallogenesis.
