Abstract:
The theories of continental dynamics and mantle plume multiple grade evolution are employed to analyse the tectonic settings of Mesozoic volcanic formations in Northeast China and adjacent area. It can be concluded that the tectonic mechanism of the volcanic activities largely occurred in Northeast China and adjacent area are the multiple grade evolution of the mantle plume tectonic, the laminar flow meso-lower curst, the chamber near the departure zone, the uplift and depression in upper curst, the change of the regional stress field, and the connection of deep and large faults.
