Abstract:
Luojingwa gold deposit in Pingqun,north-east Hebei Province, is situated in the conjuction between Inner Mongolia axis of earth and Yanshanian subsidence zone of North China platform.
The gold deposit is a gold-polymetallic sulfide one emplaced in the faults striking about south to north within the Archean metamorphic strata and magmatic intrusive massif The wallrocks of ore are mainly Archaeozoic metamorphic rocks of Qianxi group, granodiorite, monzophyre and diorite-porphrite Wallrock alterations are dominated by sericitization, silicification, carbonation, chloritization and epidotization Overlapping pyritization are also found near the ore body.
The REE characteristics of diorite-porphrite is of crust-mantle granitoid The result of REE analysis of LV-3 vein reveals that REE were taken away during alteration The REE content variation is positively correlated to wallrock alteration intensity The REE distribution patterns are similar The mobility of REE increases as silicification gets stronger,The migration ability of LREE is stronger than that of HREE The ability of HREE entering wallrocks is powerful in cataclatic rocks with high gold content, which indicates our exploration.
