Abstract:
Geoelectrical chemical extraction(GCE) is a geophysical-geochemical combined exploration method on the basis of ion halo, that is, by extracting the element data in micro ion halo under natural state, with artificial electric field force enrichment, to locate ore directly or distinguish the different features of geophysical and geochemical anomalous sources. The new method has been tested in some given deposit, such as Paishanlou gold deposit, Maoling gold deposit, Lijia silver deposit and Erdaogou gold deposit. The results were effective. In Shuangshan area, outside of the known Paishanlou gold deposit, an anomalous belt is detected by GCE. A gold mineralized body with average grade of 1.05×10
-6 (up to 2.4×10
-6) is then revealed by trenching. With an economic ore body drilled in deep, it is now becomes a middle scale gold deposit. After study on the application of GCE both in domestic and abroad, a regularity of ore-searching for gold and silver deposits with GCE is summarized.
