Abstract: Owing to disadvantages of long period,single achievement and repeated process,routine regional geological mapping has no longer satisfied the multiple demands of high-speed developing society With the development of science and technology,advanced techniques,such as GIS,RS and GPS,will be progressively applied into regional geological mapping Mapping with GIS,RS and GPS relates to data collecting,inputting and compiling,and it can form digital maps with varied information and relative database These digital maps can be conveniently renewed,queried and output,so as to serve the society well.
