Abstract: With the theory of plate tectonic,the geotectonic evolution in south-western of Sichuan Province has been analysised and recovered thoroughly. By discussing the geotectonic specialization to gold deposit mineralization, the author suggested a concept of gold geotectonic mineralization zone, then divided the zones in this area. The geotectonic controlling to different zones and its main mineralization geologic features were described, too. The writer thinks the prospecting direction for gold deposit in this region can be definited by contrasting the found deposits and its stypes with the spealization deposit types in the same zone.
