Abstract
The prospecting and predicting for precious deposits of big and exceptionally big type possess great economic significance. According to the outcome of sciencetific researches on the huge structure zone of Kaiyuan -chunli -Guyang fault,the author propse the zone is a ideal area for predicting the precious mineral deposits of big and exceptionally big type and argue with new geological materials that the speciality of earth's crust structure and superi ority of source bed ore -bearing rock system,particularly the developing ductile shear struc-ture belts along the both sides of the huge fault zone for forming the presious deposi's espe-cially the northern side of the fault,which is the result of t.errane collage. These iartors led to the structure movement of deep source bed ore -bearing basic volcanic rock and finally led to the activing of thermal fluid and made the ductile shear belts to be host structure in the iorm of gold-bearing quartz vein or ore -bearing alternative belt based on recent years the devel-oping metallogenic theory of ductile shear belt the author in the paper has discussed the ore forming conditions of gold deposits of the exceptionally big type for favourable segments a long the structure zone,and how and where to find them.
