GOLD ABUNDANCE OF GRANITES IN HENAN PROVINCE

A ststistic analysis of gold abundance of 86 granitic bodies of various types and scales in Henan province is made in this paper. The average abundance is 1.17×10^-9,much lower than clarke value. The gold contents of granites depend on their genetic types and increade gradully from big granitic bodies through small porphyries to alkaline granitic bodies. Furthermore, the relationship between gold contents of granitic bodies and gold mineralization and gold contents of granitic bodies of different periods and facies are also discussed.
