Abstract
There are three Precambrian deformations in Dabeiwu gold deposif and its periphery. The first one is represented by nearly E-W Zhuanggongshan fan-shaped anticlinorium and axial plane flow cleavages; the second by north east-trend neutral folds and axial crenulation cleavage; and the third by compression shatter zones. The third deformation happened about 700Ma ago these deformations restlted in the gold scattered in rocks to be concentrated in quarts veins on three stares. The gold mineralisation is contrdled by source bed-the fifth rock formation of early Proterozoic Zhuanggong shan group, the west on plunge and of Zhuanggongshan anticlinorium, the crenulation cleavoge zwnes and the compression shatter zones.
