DISCUSSION ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE EVOLUTION OF DONGGOU COASTAL PLAIN AND PLACER GOLD IN LIAONING PROVINCE

After late Cretaceous, Liaodong peninsula was elevated and denudated,and gradually peneplaned.Since late Holocene,repeated transgressions and regressions have resulted in some intermittent coastal plains along Yellow Sea,Among them,the Donggou coastal plain is the best peneplaned with well developed Quarternary deposits of large thickness and the best mineralization condition of placer gold.
