    COMMERCIAL TYPES OF GOLD DEPOSITS IN CHINA

    • Aurifero us geological body is the major and direct factor to define the commerial value of a deposit. Based on the characteristics of auriferous bodies, the gold deposits in China can be commercially classified into 10 types, which are (1) auriferous quartz, (2) auriferous mylonite, (3) auriferous altered cataclasite, (4) auriferous adular-sericite quartz, (5)auriferous breccia, (6) auriferous skarn, (7) fine impregnated mineralization, (8) auriferous gossan, (9) auriferous laterite, and (10) auriferous sandy gravel.
