THE ELEMENTAL GEOCHEMISTRY AND EXPLORING SIGNIFICANCE OF ZHANGQUANZHUANG GOLD DEPOSIT

    • Zhangquanzhuang gold deposit is an old gold deposit in Hebei Province,China By 1994,only a little gold was reserved. Most of gold veins have been mined. The sulfides scatter in the veins unevenly, but the various kinds of wall-rocks share the same elemental geochemistry environment. We took the altered wall-rocks which have the same distances from vein in accordance with the above facts. Some orebodies have been found by studying the elemental migration features in those altered wall-rocks and establishing a model of elemental zoning of primary dispersion halo,i.e., As,Sb and Ag are the top halo elements,Cu,Ag,Au,Pb and Zn are the mineralization elements, and Mo is the rear halo elemet.
