Abstract
Adular is commonly distributed in Guliku gold(silver) deposit and can be divided into two kinds according to its occurrence. One is that adular and quartz occur in vein-like orebody of main mineralizing stage and altered wallrock closed to orebody with subveined or band-disseminated shape, the other is that adular occurs in altered andsite and dacite with disseminated or disseminated-network shape. This adular is the products of altered feldspar minerals in early stage of mineralization. Adular is rhombus, transparent biaxial crystal and negative character It is consisted of SiO2(66.05%),Al2O3(17.53%),K2O(16.04%) and Na2O(0.25%) by microprobe analysis The discovery of adular has important significance in ore prospecting and metallogenic studying.
