GEOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL ENVIRONMENT IN ANSHAN REGION: Its correlation to the Nanguo pear

The Nanguo pear is the specialty of Anshan region and also the main pocketbook of the local farmers. The reason why the pear distributes in the localized area was not clear. Through the study on the geological and geochemical environment of the region, its intimate correlation to the pear is found out. The relatively abundant concentration of necessary and nutrient elements in soil is the chief premise for pear's favorable growth, furthermore the elements of K,Fe, Mg, Co and Mn decide the special quality of the pear.
