    MODELING FOR REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS OF THE GIS-BASED MINERAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM

    • During the development of "The GIS-based Mineral Resources Management Information System", the software engineering principle is adopted to establish the standardized system requirement analysis model. The logical model (work process) of the new system is accurately described with the data flow diagram (DFD) and data dictionary, which are the essential tools for systematic analysis. The method of software engineering in standardized modeling is significantly important for the development of mineral resources information system.
