COLLECTION AND PROCESS OF STREAM SAMPLES FOR DIAMOND PROSPECTING

Stream samples play an important role in diamond prospecting. Reason ably taking and treading for the samples is a key to ensure the efficiency of the samples. This paper systematically discusses the classification, collection, preliminary treating in field, quality controlling and data sorting of the samples, as well as the technical requirements. The authors also introduce the experience in a technical exchange with De Beers Australia Exploration Limited.
