    APPLICATION OF RS-GIS-GPS TECHNOLOGY IN LAND-USE DATABASE AND ITS UPDATING

    • With the maturity of technology, remote sensing (RS), geographic information system (GIS) and global positioning system (GPS) have been broadly applied in various areas. This article reviews the present situation of the application of RS-GIS-GPS technology in China and focuses on the application in the establishment and updating of land-use database. The future for the application of PS-GIS-GPS technology in land resources administration is also forecasted.
