Abstract
In the Yichun-Yanshou geocynclinal zone with complicate tectonics and structures, the metallogenesis is closely related to the magmatic intrusions, which acted in multiple episodes. The gold and polymetallic deposits of hydrothermal and metasomatic type are related to Caledonian, Indosinian and Yanshanian intrusions (or volcanic rocks). The studied area belongs to island-arc or active continental margin environment, in which the magmatic rocks are characterized by high-Si and high-K. The volcanic rocks from Proterozoic Dongfengshan group, Paleozoic Xilin group, Permian Tumenling formation, Cretaceous Banzifang, Ganhe and Guanghua formations are the source of ore material.
