CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE SPATIAL DATABASE OF REGIONAL GEOLOGIC MAPS

The construction of the spatial database of regional geologic maps is an important part of digitalization and informatization for the geological survey. With the example of the 1:250 000 geologic map of Tieling Sheet, this paper expatiates the model and standard for the construction of the spatial database. The constructing process and operating skills of the digital geologic database are also introduced. It would hopefully provide references for others in the building of spatial database with RGMAP.
