    EXTRACTION AND ANALYSIS OF GEOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTIC INFORMATION BASED ON REMOTE SENSING IMAGE: A case study of Huize area, Yunnan Province

    • Taking Huize area of Yunnan Province as an example, on the basis of remote sensing image of ETM+, ASTER and DEM, this paper applies the ARCGIS and ERDAS to extract the geographic information of vegetation, terrain and slope, and generate thematic maps for the study of agricultural planning, soil erosion, geological disasters, resources development and soil erosion.
