DISCUSSION ON THE TREATMENT OF CONTOURS IN OFFICE DIGITAL MAPPING
During the generation of contours in digital mapping, the imperfect software and limited elevation data will make the contours distorted, thus reduce the precision of mapping. This problem is not caused totally by the field surveying. It can be treated and perfected in office mapping. This paper proposes some methods to solve the problems about the generation and modification of contours.
