    METALLOGENIC PROGNOSIS BASED ON COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION FOR THE BAJIAZI-WUJIATUN POLYMETALLIC OREFIELD IN WESTERN LIAONING

    • With increasing difficulties in prospecting, the method of comprehensive information for concealed ore searching and target delineation is broadly applied with support of different mineral prognosis theories. On the basis of collection and study of previous achievement, this paper re-defines the comprehensive information prospecting models for the BajiaziWujiatun polymetallic orefield by conversion of geological variables. The grid units are valued according to comprehensive information. With GIS-based spatial analysis and superposition, adopting comprehensive information ore predicting theory and method, 4 high-score zones are obtained as targets, which would be significant guidance for further prospecting in the orefield.
