THE MULTIPLE MOVEMENTS OF DIAPIR IN YINGGEHAI BASIN:Effective Proof and Affection to Natural Gas Accumulation

    • The gas fields and gas-bearing structures in the Yinggehai Basin are controlled by diapir, which is the major factor for natural gas accumulation. The multiple movements of diapir in the basin have been noted by previous researchers. However, effective proof was not provided. This article analyzes the multiple movements of Changnan6-1 and Ledong22-1 diapirs. It is revealed that the multiple movements evidently affect the nature gas accumulation of different kinds of diapirs. The result is significant for future exploration in the diapir zone.
