DISCUSSION ON THE APPLICATION OF TRUE REFLECTION TOMOGRAPHY FOR GEOLOGICAL PREDICTION IN MINES

The operational principle, technical features and detecting method of true reflection tomography (TRT) for geological prediction are introduced. For a case project, the TRT detected anomalous zone is verified by drilling. With discussion on the issues about detection by TRT technology in mine, reasons for the failures of prediction are analyzed, and suggestions for the improvement are put forward.
