GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND IMPLICATION OF STRELTSOVKA VOLCANIC TYPE URANIUM DEPOSIT IN RUSSIA

    • The Streltsovka super-large deposit, located in the Mongolia-Erguna uranium-polymetallic metallogenic belt in the border of China, Russia and Mongolia, is a global famous volcanic type uranium deposit. Regional background, geological and metallogenic characteristics of the deposit are generalized to analyze the geological conditions favorable for mineralization of the same type of deposits in the metallogenic belt within China, which share a similar metallogenic geologic environment.
