METALLOGENESIS AND PROSPECT OF THE EASTERN LIAONING-SOUTHERN JILIN METALLOGENIC PROVINCE

On the basis of a synthetic analysis of ore-forming conditions and regional mineralization characteristics in the Eastern Liaoning-Southern Jilin metallogenic province, it is proposed that the major target ore deposits are volcanic sedimentary-metamorphic type, marine volcanic exhalative sedimentation-metamorphic hydrothermal type, submarine exhalative sedimentary metamorphic-magmatic hydrothermal reformation type and volcanic hydrothermal sedimentarymetamorphic type. With the study on the geology and metallogeny as well as geophysical and geochemical exploration, 16 prospecting target areas for iron, copper, lead-zinc, gold, silver and boron are located.
