    A REVIEW OF TECHNOLOGY FOR GEOLOGICAL HAZARD PREVENTION AND REDUCTION

    • China is among the countries with most serious geological hazards. Many have studied on how to prevent or reduce the impact of geological hazards. The technology for geological hazard prevention and reduction involves four aspects:monitoring, prediction and early warning, risk assessment and risk management. With summarization of the studies on the technologies both in China and abroad, the current development and existing problems in the field are analyzed.
