NEW DISCOVERY OF THE MIDDLE JURASSIC YANLIAO BIOTA IN DAXISHAN AREA OF LINGLONGTA, LIAONING PROVINCE

The second member of Tiaojishan Formation, Middle Jurassic Series, outcropped in Daxishan area, Western Liaoning Province, yields abundant fossils. During the geological section survey, the fossils of Xinjiangchelys sp., Anchiornis huxleyi and others were founded in new horizons. This discovery enriches the Yanliao Biota and further confirms the biological evolutionary direction of the fauna in Yanliao Biota.
