PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE EVOLUTION AND METALLOGENY OF THE HEILONGJIANG DEPRESSION

    • The Upper Heilongjiang Depression, located in northern Daxinganling region of China, and the Russian Bureya Depression on the other side of Heilongjiang River, belong to the same Mesozoic fault basin filled with terrigenous detritus and sediments. The resources of oil, gas, coal, gold, silver, copper and some nonmetal minerals are distributed in the depression. With discussion on the formation, structure and volcanic activities, as well as their relationships to metallogenesis, this article carries out a preliminary study about the Upper Heilongjiang Depression.
