GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PROSPECTING SUGGESTION FOR THE COPPER POLYMETALLIC DEPOSIT IN DAHUANGHUA AREA IN INNER MONGOLIA

The Dahuanghua Cu-polymetallic deposit, located in the south of Chifeng Au-Ag-polymetallic ore belt, is found during the 1:50 000 digital regional geological survey in recent years. The study area belongs to the Chifeng-Kaiyuan deep fracture zone. The ore bearing rock is the Carboniferous Jiujuzi Formation, superimposed by Mesozoic large-scale volcanic eruption and magmatic activities, which provide good geological conditions for metallogenesis.
